Constructed as the· Alva High School in 1927, this structure was the landmark public building for Alva for over 65 years. Due to its age, a renovation program was initiated involving room renovation, ceiling and lighting replacement, HVAC renovation, and complete window replacement of the original steel casement window system.
This detailed renovation project was constructed in several short phases due to the building having to be occupied during the entire construction period. The majority of the design & construction renovated the administration floor plan in order to improve service to the entire school campus for the upcoming decade.
