This house was designed to meet the large setbacks imposed on a lot facing intersecting waterways, thus demanding a creative 2-story design to minimize the building footprint. The main first floor living room and adjacent porch are designed to face the lot corner bordering the waterfront. In a similar shape, the upstairs master bedroom is also oriented toward the waterfront corner. This strong physical alignment with the waterfront corner makes the occupant always engaged with a 180 degree panoramic view of the water with an eastward sunrise view.
